Our hand-made pouches are made by the wonderful women who are apart Saheli Women, a women Centre located in Bhikamkor village, Rajasthan, India. The Centre is run by NFO Institute for Philanthropy & Humanitarian Development (IPHD) in Northern India, they help develop rural communities by empowering women through education in sewing and embroidery. They are all paid ethical wages and have a safe work environment. We are thrilled & honoured to be working alongside these amazing women.

With the help of our friends at Assamica Argo we are able to ethically source these beautiful unbleached cotton teabags from a self help group in Tezpur, Assam, India. Run by two ladies, there are 12 women in this group who engage in different work skills, one being stitching. Through our orders these women are able to work and most importantly are paid for their skill. For us, its humbling to know that we can help others in this millennial world where equality still struggles.
